A Note on These Images

Restored, like a
barn-find brought home.

Much of Rita's work was created and photographed decades ago — on old analog cameras, in fitting rooms and salons, long before a phone could light a room. The dresses are real. The moments are real. The photographs, simply, had not aged as gracefully as the craft they captured.

So we restored them. Using AI image reconstruction, every piece was rebuilt with care — improving light, clarity, and presentation while keeping each garment faithful and true to its source: the same silhouette, the same lace, the same beadwork, the same hand.

We show this openly, because we are proud of it — the way one is proud of restoring a barn-find car to the road. The images are AI-reconstructed; the designs are entirely Rita's. The original source photograph for every published dress is available on request.

The atelier, relit

A candid studio photograph of Rita at her worktable — the same moment, the same person, professionally relit and decluttered. Her face and her work are untouched.

The beadwork, in focus

A crystal-and-pearl beaded shoulder, photographed on the dress form in the workroom, brought into clean editorial light — every stone and stitch faithful to the original.

From sketch to cloth

The collection on paper — hand-drawn sketches beside the lace they became — restored from a dim worktable snapshot into a clear, considered still life.
